Great Sonic toothbrush creat by an actual dentist!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I have been using my new sonic toothbrush created by dentist Dr. Jim Ellis for the past couple of days. It has some really great features in addition to getting my teeth clean and sparkly.It comes with a really wide base stand to hold and charge your toothbrush along with two spots to hold the additional brush heads. The wide base is a nice feature because it doesn't easily tip over when lifting the toothbrush off and putting it back on.The toothbrush comes with 3 brushing modes. Clean, whiten and massage. There is a button for turning the brush on and a separate button for selecting the mode. Once you decide on your favorite mode, the brush remembers it each time you turn it on, so you don't have to select your favorite mode each time you go to brush your teeth.The toothbrush runs for 2 minutes with a reminder every 30 seconds. This is a good way to remember to focus on different areas of your teeth before your time runs out.One suggestion would be to have the toothbrush heads come with different colored rings on the bottom so you can differentiate between the different brush heads.Overall, this is a wonderfully designed brush that allows you to get your teeth really clean.

Why Pay over $100
Why Pay over $100. I seldom write reviews but this product merits a review. I needed to replace my older model Sonicare and wanted the latest model Sonicare had to offer. Even with coupons, the Sonicare was over $100. I saw this product and plugged it into Fakespot and the Fakespot came up with a D grade based on repeat words. I read thoroughly into the writers reviews and decided Fakespot just might be wrong. I knew buying Amazon Prime would offer me protection in case this toothbrush turned out to be a dud. I received the toothbrush and plugged it in, charging in no time at all. My first experience was unbelievable. It was everything and more than my original Sonicare and probably a match to the one I wanted. My wife immediately wanted one for herself and I bought 5 more as Christmas gifts. What better gift than the gift of oral hygiene?!!! This toothbrush is AS ADVERTISED!!! I have had it for a month and recently went to the dentist and told my hygienist about it. My dentist sells the Sonicares and she agreed that they were too expensive. Anyway, I had an improved checkup over the last 6 month visit as my gums were in better shape. I'm not exaggerating. I'm not the best flosser but my hygienist actually not4ed the improvement.I want everyone to know that I have nothing to gain from this review. I did not receive any discount or free product for writing this review. As a matter of fact, I usually NEVER buy a product that has those fake reviews. I'm sick of solicitors reaching out to people to solicit a fake overrated review. This is far and above NOT one of those products and if it was, I'm glad I bought them. Can't wait to have my family open these. They are young and just making their ways in the world and can't afford the high dollar Sonicare and Oral B.

So far so good!
I have been a Sonicare user for about 25 years. I was disappointed in my last Sonicare. It didn't even last a year. Not good for $100 toothbrush. My older ones always lasted 3-5 years. I've been using this for over 2 months and seems like it should last at least as long as my last sonicare, if not longer. It seems like it cleans near as well if not as well as my last sonicare. (Whitening mode is downright scary) This brush also has all of the features of the top top of the line Sonicares. So,after 2 months, I would definitely recommend this to someone looking to switch from a Sonicare either due to cost or quality!

I don't read instructions!
So I have to admit that I did something dumb. I totally didn't read the instructions before my first use.Now I've never used an Electric or Sonic Toothbrush. Just the good old traditional way was my go-to method for cleaning my teeth. So I had no idea if there was like a special way you do this or do you like just move it around and let the vibration do its thing? Do you brush normally AND have the sonic vibrations? I had no idea. So, I just went for it.Then all of a sudden my toothbrush stops brushing just briefly. Just for a moment. It almost felt like it shorted out at first. I thought "Hmm that was weird. Oh well, I'll just keep going and see what happens."It happened 3 more times, and then the thing just turned off.This is actually a good thing.If I'd bothered to read the instructions I would have found that this was the 30 second Quadrant Timer and the 2 Minute Shut-off Timer (SMH).SO with that said I really liked using a Sonic Toothbrush. I do feel like my teeth afterwards felt kind of like when you go to the Dentist. Really smooth and polished afterwards.I was also kind of worried it would be pretty loud. But I was pleasantly surprised. It was actually pretty quiet.Best of all, when I used to look at the store for the Sonic Brushes, I was always just blown away at the cost. GOOD GRIEF. I mean, I know your teeth are important but those things are really pricey. Dr. Ellis's brush puts great technology in reach of families who are cost conscious.So, I'm really looking forward to using this more often. Hopefully, Dr. Ellis will also come out with a Water Flosser. I'm going to try out the Massage setting tonight before bed.A+ I'm a fan of this product.

Don't bother. Cheap junk
Not worth it...I was not impressed by the cleaning, settings or anything else about this. I decided I would use it up and get rid of it. This was pushed forward when I noticed a horrible smell in my bathroom. It was the base of this item. It has a hole that supposed to let water drain out. Instead it collects in there until it smells like a sewer pipe. Out it went

I am totally disappointed. I would like to keep using Dr Jim ...
I have had the Dr Jim Ellis Oral-clean toothbrush for slightly over 7 months. I've been enjoying using it. Its been fully charging up to now. As of a week ago, it started only charging enough for one cleaning. Of the three charging indicator lights, the last two keep blinking. Needless to say, I am totally disappointed. I would like to keep using Dr Jim Ellis products, but not with this kind of product longevity.
