Boy, do I feel dumb. I wrote a one-star review claiming this didn't fit. A few days later I was trying to figure out what to do with it and realized that if you flip the ring around, the distance between the ring and the flap is different. I tried it again with the ring the other way, and it fit with no problem. However, I can still only give it 3 stars because it still didn't work for my toilet. The ring is bigger than the pipe in my toilet, which makes it a cinch to slide on. But every time I flushed the while apparatus, ring and all, got pulled up the pipe. This would cause the flapper to sometimes get wedged against the side of the tank, so I still had to check and make sure it went down all the way every time I flushed. Also, it had a very slow leak. (But, in fairness, I've tried 3 different flappers and all of them have had the same slow leak.)

Flap Fit: Fit perfect on a standard toilet (Gerber). However, be aware that some reviewers commented that this flap didn't fit their toilet.Water Savings: Nominal. Testing the dial, the water level doesn't change by 50% as the package claims. If it did, I think I can believe one reviewer's claim of $5 per month in savings but I doubt this is true given that my water level only changed by a few inches. Given how cheap water is, that means savings of under a dollar.Chain Hook: Fail. The hook was the big disappointment for me. If you notice in the picture, the chain is attached to a hook. You'll notice that this hook is not closed. Because it's not closed, the chain will jump off every 3rd flush. Luckily, I had saved the hook from the flap I had replaced and used that. No flapper had perfect reviews. This is because no flapper fit all toilets. As a result, the ones that don't fit complain which knocks down the flapper's rating. However, this flapper had the best reviews on both Amazon and Home Depot. It's also much cheaper which is a great thing as well.*Please upvote this so other customers will get an accurate review of this product. Had to improvise, the tube on my old toilet was smaller,but made it work and very happy

My home was built in 1999. I have 3 toilets. One broke and I tried several stoppers from Home Depot and none fit. This one fit great and it had a water saving option. I ordered 2 more because of my other 2 bathrooms. A few weeks late ( when we had guests staying the night ) one of the other toilets broke. It took a minute to fix because I already had one waiting 😊👍.

Seems very high quality but did not fit my Glacier toilet like it advertised. The main issue is that I really needed to use the supplied tube ring for attachment but the existing toilet had attachment points that could not be removed and made it impossible to use the supplied ring.

The delivery, price, and quality is great. Installed correctly, sometimes the toilet still runs due to the lack of sealing and sometimes it does not. Its hit or miss. Next time I will purchase an all rubber one.

It will not last more than 1 year

Excellent quality. The hard plastic rim should make this one outlast the toilet. Most others have the rubber rim and they tend to get out of shape and leak
