This little device is exactly what I needed, and it's a solid little device. For the med I'm using it for, there's no resistance at all, it just works in the blink of an eye.

This works very well. I use for meds for my dog, to crush to make into a paste. It’s simple to use and effective. Also easy to clean.

It works really well, was reasonably priced. Had never heard of a pill crusher until I needed to crush all my husbands’ pills to administer through a PEG tube directly into his tummy and I was asked by one of the professionals overseeing my husbands’ illness how was I coping with administering his medication and I said I’d had to result to crushing his tables between clingfilm with a rolling pin and she suggested a pill crusher.
