Q: My mandolin has a 12deg radius fretboard. Is this a radius bridge?

I have gone to golden gate m-200, m-201, m-202 bridges for my three of my four mandolins. I use a expensive 60 buck a piece bridge for my Collings mandolin. However I do believe that this one will work okay. As you know you will need to sand down the base of the bridge to match your mandolin. I try to get exact replacement bridges and only change the top piece as the sanding of the bottom piece is a pain in the but. I do not remember if this one had the string grooves cut into it or not. I think its better to cut your own groves because then you can have the spacing between the stings of each course to your liking. least I like all my mandolins to be the same. My Kentucky mandolin had giant gaps between the strings of each course and I found it very hard to play.

Q: can I get a mandolin brige with bone ?

never seen one. perhaps wood is better.
