Fits exactly as described on my ‘23 M3

Could leaves and debris get in without this? Well-I think stuff could find its way through the larger vent that is built in to the large frunk trim piece. This little add-on takes the oem hole that has no grate/screen and adds an extra layer of protection. Before and after. Worth the few dollars to stop wet leaves from being drawn into the cowl vent, the source of airflow for the cabin air filter. I recommend and it really easy.

Install was easy. Looks good and now I don't have to worry about random stuff entering the vent. There is already a grill covering the vent however it's big enough to possibly have things enter it. This just provides extra protection.

This screen prevents proper airflow that tesla engineers designed the system for. I recommend buying something with mesh rather than this pattern. You will have ac repairs down the road and as you know tesla hvac handles many other crucial electrical components of the car. I do not recommend this for any tesla.

Watched the video. This was very easy to install and was a good fit.
