theBalm Instain Blush - Argyle, 0.23 oz.

This is the most beautiful shade of pink. I love this color.

I didn't think the bright pink would look good on me, since I normally wear more "bare" tones. But I have VERY fair skin, and everything I read said that this was the most natural for fair skin, and I think that's true! I also purchased the Houndstooth, and so my only problem with the Argyle color is that it's not nearly as long lasting. However, I have a problem with blushes staying on my skin. Maybe it's just me.

This is really fantastic blush! It's highly pigmented, creamy, and long wearing with no fall out. Just a little dab on the brush is all you need. I love the adorable packaging and the fact it's so compact and small. But don't be fooled, there is a lot of product in that pan! I have pretty fair skin and this gives that rosy, just worked out flush without the work. I apply this product on the apple of my cheek and use theBalm's INSTAIN in Pinstripe as the contour along the cheekbone. It is much more wearable on a daily basis. I can't recommend this more!

I love the color of this blush. I have fair skin and red hair and this color looks very natural. It is definitely pink...since 'Argyle' doesn't really tell you much about the color. You have to be very careful when applying or you will look like a clown - a little goes a long way. That is the only thing I don't love about this blush. However, unlike many liquid or gel stains, you can easily wipe it off if you put on too much. If I put this bluch on in the morning, I usually will reapply only once more in the afternoon.

The Argyle shade is much more pigmented than what I see on my computer - more like a cotton candy pink than a shell pink. It still works with my fair skin but even when applying it with the lightest hand possible I find I still need to blend it considerably. It's very attractive for a "made-up" look, but I was looking for a more natural color for daily wear.

I have strawberry, peach and plum and all of these colors show up well on my nc43 skin tone. All are gorgeous are highly pigmented and require a light hand. They last a long time and i live in very humid weather. They are finely milled and can be compared to a nars blush. I own a lot of nars blush and the texture of the balm is softer and dare i say just as pigmented. Very high quality. Will last a long time and is worth the price tag.
