Rarely has a book on photography, from a single artist, inspired me in so many different ways.

Beautiful photographs, but they're way too small
Closer to a book of snapshots than an art photography book. In fact, some are even smaller than that. Don't know why the publisher bothered - is there anyone out there who wants this kind of work? Maybe someone with really good eyes. Still, the photographs are exquisite, so if other books with larger photos are too expensive, then this book is recommendable - it's quite well done, outside the size issue.

Se lo compré a una amiga tras ver la exposición de Francesca, y ella ha quedado encantada. Quizá la encuadernación no sea la mejor, pero, es una opción más asequible de tener sus fotografías respeto a la versión carísima que hay en otros lugares.

Francesca Woodman's career as a photographer was cut short by her suicide at the age of twenty-two in 1981. One can only imagine what she'd be doing now. This selection, as it usual with her work, is charming, challenging, and thought-provoking, and is a great introduction for people wishing to investigate her critically acclaimed photographs. Definitely five stars.
