My wife -- not a senior! -- fell at a construction site and broke 5 ribs, lacerated her spleen and cracked 3 vertebrate (the transverse processes). She was lucky; could have been killed. In any case, once home from the hospital, sitting up from a lying down position was impossible without help. Bought this, and it gave her total freedom to raise/lower herself. (After 2 months she no longer needed it, and we just donated it to a non-profit that loans out med equip for free.) Super highly recommend this. Easy to put together, extremely sturdy. Not pretty, but pretty was not what we were looking for! Fit at the head of the bed with the extended support legs under the bed, so where the handle sat was adjustable just by positioning it differently. I imagine that an 80 year old might have a rough time pulling themselves up with this, but for a 50-ish year-old who needs helping getting up from lying down, this was just great!!

This item was very easy to put together with decent instructions. It's a solid, sturdy device and the end user reports that it has made it much easier to get into and out of bed. Glad we did this so she could have more independence.

The bottom platform keeping the trapeze level is not heavy enough. This means it can easily be jostled if using the trapeze from side angles. This is meant to be directly level underneath/middle of the bed and behind it. Also, this package arrived a bit dinged up on the bars, almost looked as if it had been used previously and possibly returned. With proper placement and secure installation, under the frame, and preferably behind a headboard for more security it does the job. Only giving it 4 stars because it arrived in “used like” condition with scuffs on the bars, there was an extra metal piece resembling a “money clip” that was clipped on the bottom ledge which had no legitimate use, and the platform isn’t heavy enough to keep it completely still. Also there is some minimal wobbling after full install but nothing major. This isn’t a 5 star product but it can do what it’s intended for if utilized properly, on a side note for the price tag it should be priced accordingly. This is a product probably worth 150.00 in my opinion based on its quality

You get what you pay for. It is not heavy duty, but it does the job. It just slides on non-carpet floors so handles moves when you pull on it.

Purchased for my father-in-law who is very weak and had trouble getting in and out of his hospital bed now in his home. Easy to assemble and move around. Makes it easier for him get in and out by himself and pull-up and adjust his position.

This product arrive today 7/23/2021 it arrived already with the scratches missing pieces and poorly made. It is listed maximum Weight of 250 when the packing slip inside only says is Support 220 very very disappointed.

I bought this for my elderly mother who had kneed surgery. I was initially worried about it possible toppling towards the front but we easily solved it by pushing it against the wall with the mattress. I myself tested it by creating “dead weight” and really pulling on it and it stayed. It was put it together in less than 10 minutes. Shipping was so fast too which made it even better.

Package was delivered on time. Easy to set up and use. Is being used for husbands spinal surgery.
