I am a parent of active teenagers. On a semi-regular basis I am asked to tow various "club" trailers. Trying to hookup a never seen before trailer always meant borrowing or buying another hitch adapter; rarely with success. Despite the best intentions of other parents or the clubs, the hitch was never at the proper height for anything other than a simple and short tow. The Rapid Hitch was purchased to fix these issues and it has worked perfectly. Now, when I show up, I always have the correct hitch. The ball is great because I do not have to worry about greasing the clubs hitch. The lightweight means that it is easy to move around and install. Sometimes the hitch is installed on our Acura MDX, sometimes on our Tundra pickup. The adjust-ability of the height and ball makes this a very versatile product to have in any active household.This is not my first Andersen Hitch purchase, I have towed heavy trailers across the entire country with their weight distribution hitch with great results. When I have reached out to their customer service, it has been first class. Andersen is great company, making great products in America. Two years ago I had never heard of Andresen, but now I go out of my way to purchase their products, even if they may cost more.

Looks strong and heavy duty, but time will tell regarding the finish.

This is another fine Anderson product. I just got it yesterday but fit and finish is fantastic! The CNC is precise and there isn't an inch missed, it is so smooth!I will revisit this review if I have any issues with the hitch but my bet is this review will never be opened again.

Great hitch

This is a nice hitch that I hope will serve me well, but I paid full price for this and it is a used hitch. The box it arrived in was wrapped extensively in box tape and there was no assembly or use instructions contained inside typical of a used part and as you can see by the marks in the photo this part has been definitely used before. Very Disappointed! And I haven’t even used it yet.

Very high quality. I would also recommend that you purchase the locks that go with it. I have several of the 6" versions on our fleet of trucks. I needed a shorter drop for a new vehicle. Happy to see that it came in a 4" version.I especially like the greaseless ball.

Looks great and very functional. The 4 inch drop is perfect for a stock F-150. I've got a 2013 Lariat and this one is the right one. Andersen has a good blurb on how to pick the right size drop on their website, be sure to check that out before deciding.

If you're looking for a drawbar & ball combo for your 2" receiver, this is the one, plain and simple! It's exactly as advertised, and it really helps to ensure your towing configuration is properly set up. The 2 holes in the shank allow you to adjust the drawbar length by a couple inches, you can easily adjust the ball height to ensure that the trailer tongue is level or angled SLIGHTLY downward, and it simply can't be easier to switch between ball sizes (I have the 2" and 1-7/8" version), which is incredibly helpful when you have multiple trailers with different coupler sizes.I've been using this for ~4 months, have towed several hundred miles with it, and have zero complaints, only compliments. I would absolutely buy this again if I needed another drawbar.
