Does not work with Windows or iMAC
Does not work with Windows or iMAC, WIndows dispalays a Power Surge error, and iMAC does not even see it. I had to give a star rating, no choice but to select one star, no option to choose none.

The FireWire iEEE1394 adapter i ordered did not work. Therefore, i have to say “i would not recommend this specific item to anyone.”0/10

Does not work
The idea behind this product is great, but it just does not do the job, even just plugging in a firewire cable(no device) causes a power surge error in windows that requires a reboot to remove. Product returned.

This item does not work. Watch YouTube videos. One takes one apart. There is nothing useful inside. Do not buy. Waste of time and money
