That they work and well
Fill these tubes with water after we place rectangle pool cover and their weight holds cover in place during harsh weather

Terrible product
I put this pool cover on my pool after the return date within 2 days it was shredding all over. It has to have been defective. I am so frustrated. It is hard to cover a pool, but to have this happen after two days and have to think about replacing it again is unbelievable

It's a fair winter cover, nothing more
I've ordered these a few times and their longevity will depend on how well you take care of them during the winter. However well you do that, don't count on them lasting more than a few years. The fabric just doesn't last that long and while it likely won't puncture, tear, or unravel, the laminate will become thin and water will leak from the inside to the top of the cover. I am not into perfection management, but I do a decent job keeping the leaves and water off my cover. But leaves are organic and produce some acids and these do wear out a cover. It will also make a difference if you don't leave a cover pump on top of the cover. That holds it down and puts stress on it. Only install these things with double chamber water bags to weigh down the edges. That will do the job, even in a hurricane, which we are prone to receiving one here every 4-5 years. Wind just can't get underneath them to lift the cover and the rain on top helps hold them down. Just be sure that you allow enough slack in the cover to adjust for a few inches of water depth change underneath as that will happen. This is not a cover that is meant to be taut anywhere.

2-3 years at most before it tears
This is the second one of these covers I purchased. The first one lasted three years, which I was happy with because of the cheaper price, even though it had a ten year warranty. I had replaced a safety cover I had for 20 years and of course a new safety cover was much more expensive. The second one only lasted two years, and really got torn up. The NJ winter 2025-2026 had some heavy snowstorms and it just disintegrated. I'll either go back to a safety cover, or will buy a heavier duty one of these. I will say it does keep the light out, and the water was crystal clear after removal in the Spring.

GARBAGE DO NOT BUY
Absolute GARBAGE ! Ripped upon installation and is so thin and not worth anywhere near the price. GARBAGE and should not be sold at all. Says heavy duty which is a totally blatant lie for a description!

It's a big, thin tarp
I've used 4 of these tarps (30x50) to cover my pool, 2 in 2020, 1 in 2021 and 1 for this year. The first tarp from 2020 ripped at a weld after a few weeks and was replaced under warranty. The replacement tarp lasted the remainder of the 2020/21 Winter but develop holes. I used Flex Seal to repair them which seemed to work but there were just too many to repair. The tarp from 2021 did the same as the 2020 replacement tarp, held up for a couple of months but started to develop leaks that I tried to repair with Flex Seal, it helped but I was never able to get them all. The 2022 tarp came out of the box with no rips in the welds which is good. I will have to wait to see if it develops leaks over the Winter. My guess is it will. I've come to the realization that I will have to buy a cover each year since they do not last. This is where the price comes into play, they are inexpensive enough that replacing them every year isn't too bad. I wish I did not have to but I don't see any way around it. I've thought of getting a lock-down pool cover but they are sooooo expensive...I was quoted at $4500. I figured I could buy at least 22 covers for that price which would be 22 years. I was told the lock-down covers would need replacing in the 22 years so I just figure that the tarps are a more cost effective way of covering my pool. If the tarps were a little thicker and the welds held better, I bet they would last a few years for me.
