BLUESKYGel Nail Polish, Zillionaire 80527, Transparent, Chunky Glitter, Long Lasting, Chip Resistant, 10 ml (Requires Drying Under UV LED Lamp)

Not a huge cheerleader of glitter polish but thought I'd give IBIZA a bash.As you can see I used it over a colour as I'm not a fan of not have block colour on nails.The glitter is large! To the point of forget about using the brush to apply it large.I found the easiest way of doing it was apply a blob of it to the middle of the nail and push it to where you want it with an orange stick.Because of that application you need to be quick to set it or it moves fast and pools.Colours in it are nice and a few have commented but if you dont feel too confident at doing your own nails I probably wouldn't bother with it, it's a bit of a faff

Really love Bluesky gel but especially this one. Applied on a base coat, wiped brush with thick product on against nail tip (would probably be thinner in warmer temp but was perfect for what I was trying to do) leaving a clump of product to manipulate into position. I applied and cured each finger individually as was first time I attempted this way but with base coat, one coat and top coat it’s perfect! Took no longer than applying a few coats so very happy indeed 🥰

I am pleased with this bluesky gel polish. Admittedly, I'm not a nail tech but I found the easiest way for me to apply was by spotting it on to the nail and pushing the glitter around. I also used the end of a beauty blender for the tips of my nails as I found it harder for it to stick here.I only applied one coat and I am happy with the coverage. It would probably be a faff for a lot of people and it took me half an hour to do each hand but I like the result - very shiny and glittery.The next time I might try it over a colour and see how it looks. I'll have a lot of fun with it anyway as it's really pretty.

Shown here with Bluesky’s white polish and their base and top coat.Really cute glitter with pink holographic hearts and sort of long strips of holographic glitter. I would recommend using a sponge to apply this to really get the opaqueness on your nail, especially as the polish is nice and chunky. This is two layers of glitter (though I could’ve stopped after one). Good thing about it being a gel is you can move it around till you’re happy. I’m not sure you could ever wear just this glitter and get the nail itself covered.Not sure about longevity but usually I get a long time out of the white so hoping this will be just as good! Definitely a nice, unique glitter if you like doing your nails at home.

I’ll start by saying this gel polish is lovely and it makes a nice topper but it was a pain to work with. Once you’ve loaded the brush with product and you go to put it on the nail all that’s left behind is a clear layer of gel polish. In the end I was swiping on a thin layer of this then manually having to put the shards within the polish on to my nails using a dotting tool. It was an absolute pain! This polish isn’t for me and have ended up getting rid of it.
