Used for thumb drive --> USB-C connection
Simple-looking product well made. I used it as an adapter to plug a thumb drive into my smart phone to transfer contacts. Only used once. It worked well to make that connection.

Connects firmiy (so far) to Tacoma data port
It works with Tacoma 2024 data port for mp3 music. It stays in place even with bumps on the road.

Works great, high quality, but too short
This adapter is well built and does provide USB 3.1 speed (5 Gbps).However, it is only 5 inches (12.7 cm) long. This is not mentioned on either Anker or Amazon websites. This is ok to use with a laptop, but not so useful for a desktop.

Seems like quality build.
I had a couple USB A to USB C adapters from this company. Both failed within a year so thought I'd try the pigtail, So far, OK.
