Chickens aren't too bright. I received 7 hens from a friend who couldn't get them to lay during their molting time. I placed these realistic-sized fake eggs in a nest box on the ground, changed their diet to include greens and laying mash... and, they started laying a few days after... while still molting for another 4 weeks.

I teach PE, and used these for Field Day. They do not have the mass that a real eggs has, so the egg and spoons race became TWO spoons and (a plastic) eggs race. Good product.

Not pure white. They have a yellowish tint.
