bigger than I expected from the photos but seems good quality and works well with my toothpaste brand. might be I but over kill for glue as the tubes are generally smaller.

Nice headline above, so why only 4 stars?These things are well made, out of high-grade "Austenitic" (non-magnetic) Stainless Steel, probably AISI 304, which is reasonably corrosion resistant, and certainly up to the job needed in your Kitchen or Bathroom.Each of the three items are identical, containing three parts: a removable "Key", an outer "Shell", and within that shell, a fixed "Spring".To use this, you pull the key out of the shell (the spring is there to retain it), insert the bottom of your tube of paste / pate / whatever into a groove in the key, then, push it back into the holder.And this is where things go a little pear-shaped (the missing "star"):As you rotate the key, to start winding in the tube of stuff, even though the spring retracts to accommodate the metal or plastic you are pulling in, it rapidly becomes too stiff to turn the key easily.There is a simple solution to this: pull the key (and part-wound tube of stuff) out of the shell, leaving the latter component behind, and JUST use the key. NOW it works a treat, and will wind its way through an entire tube of yumminess, without getting "too stiff" to handle.If Amazon sold JUST the keys, without the Shell/Spring part, even at the same price, this would have been a FIVE-star review. Even at the same price! It just irks me to have three nicely-made Shell/Spring devices, with no functional purpose for their existence!

Brilliant for my toothpaste, durable, metal, great size, easy to use, easy to clean. You slide it out to release the tube once done, very simple and brilliant. I'd buy more again in a heartbeat

These are very hand and easy to use. They also look nice.

just what was advertized. we use them for the toothpaste tubes only problem is the spring bit inside falls out when tubes are removed and fiddly to put back in

The metal construction means that there is weight to this item and it holds tubes well. I unpeeled my partly folded tube of tomato puree, inserted it into this roller, turned the handle, the tube rolled and I now can see that I have more puree in the tube than I thought because the roller compresses the tube really well! I am going to buy some more of these gadgets!

Well made and strong, Easy to insert and remove tube. Fits well on a bathroom shelf. All in all very good.
