I can only think that I was so overwhelmed by the cuteness of the whales that I failed to read the description carefully, but this item is quite a bit smaller than I expected it to be. It will still work for my needs, so I'll be keeping it, but if you have a household which produces a lot of laundry, it might not be the best choice.I've deducted one star because, although the failure in reading comprehension was entirely my fault, it is overpriced for what you actually get.

I HAD BEEN SEARCHING FOR A HAMPER FOR MY SON'S NURSERY AND HAPPENED TO ORDER THIS BY MISTAKE. HOWEVER WHEN IT ARRIVED I OPENED IT AND I REALLY LIKED THE QUALITY THAT I COULD NOT FOLLOW THROUGH WITH THE RETURN. IT IS CANVAS, AND THE BOTTOM IS WATER PROOF AND WIPEABLE. IT STANDS ON ITS OWN WHILE EMPTY. IT LOOKS RATHER SMALL,BUT IT HOLDS ALOT. THE WHALE PRINT IS SUPER ADORABLE. I THINK THE PRICE IS A LITTLE HIGH BUT I DO NOT REGRET THIS PURCHASE.

This is NOT an average sized basket however this was expected and bought to be used in our son Jonahs room for onesies, spit up blankets, swaddled etc. It will hold plenty of those!! 1 star off durability for the fact that there is not metal skeleton frame to hold the structure up. Just the rigidity of the canvas (which is plenty for now but as the unit gets older I worry it will collapse easily)Very cute. Very whale-y

This is a tough one because I like the whale design, the quality of the fabric is solid, but I am disappointed that is crumbles and doesn't stay up when it is empty. It looks dumb sitting there. In the pictures it looked more solid and like it would hold upright. I don't think I will end up using it as a clothes hamper unless I keep it in the closet out of sight.

I received a blue and white striped hamper rather than the whale pattern I ordered. Luckily, this is not a crucial design element, so the stripes will do, but I wonder what happened? This is a little smaller and flimsier than I expected it would be--it crumples up easily, so the kids will need to be careful not to knock it down when they put their clothes in it.

This is only half the size, height wise, it seems it was represented to be. I was disappointed about this most of all. Maybe I didn't read the description well enough but this is only about 24 inches high rather than my impression that it was 36 to 48 inches high.

It's cute. I was looking for a fabric laundry bad that can be closed at the top and this fits the bill. Although I don't think it can be washed in the washing machine, which would have been nice as well.

For some reason I thought it was a little bigger than it is but than again I did not read the dimensions so thats my fault but other than that its great for just off to the side of my sons changing table. Great quality of fabric and made well and is super cute. Definitely like it.
