AMAZING!!!!!
This is only the second time I've had poison ivy and hopefully the last! The first time was almost forty years ago and I wasn't a kid. Yep...I'm a senior citizen with senior citizen skin. I had a hard time finding a product that wouldn't destroy my skin any further than the poison ivy itself. For the itch I found that organic peppermint extract [the type for cooking, not essential oiI] mixed with water was soothing and even let me get some sleep. Once the blisters and oozing started I found that my skin was extremely dry...except for the oozy part. I tried all sorts of products that would both address the dryness and the rash. Nothing worked. Then I found Green Goo for poison ivy. Ahhhhhh! It's perfect! It instantly addressed the dryness but wasn't heavy or greasy It didn't feel "burny" on the poison ivy patches. Now I am optimistic that my skin will recover from this bout of poison ivy and that this will be a useful product for other itches I tend to get. UPDATE: I began to combining the Peppermint Extract with the Green Goo. The result has been amazing. No itch and no dry scaly skin! I simply put the Green Goo on my fingertips and then add a few drops of the extract. [Again, I use the same extract you use for cooking rather than essential oils.] I ran out of Peppermint for a few nights and just about ripped my face off from scratching. Being so impressed with the Poison Ivy Goo, I bought the skin repair goo for use when the poison ivy clears up. It's a bit less heavy.

Good stuff
I keep getting poison-ivy-like rashes on my hands, arms, neck, and ankles. For a number of reasons, I have come to the conclusion that I am actually allergic to Virginia creeper, but the rash, blisters, and itch are the same as poison ivy. I purchased this product, as the popular anti-poison ivy soap has been ineffective. This product has been great. It diminishes the rash more quickly than anything else I've tried. Drawbacks are that it doesn't smell great (although the odor isn't strong), and it doesn't relieve the itching. The main plus is that my rashes are noticeably smaller and less irritating within days of using this product, rather than weeks. I will continue to use it, for its effectiveness and because it's all natural.

This works!
Wonderful!! I get poison ivy bad and need prescription steroids. It doesn’t itch it burns. This product is the only over the counter anything that helps. Within minutes the burning stops and I get some relief. It also begins to dry up blisters. I found it helps to warm it up in my hands to make it easier to spread since my skin hurts when I touch it. Also since it’s like an ointment it is greasy when you first put it on. I had no problem washing it out of cotton and other natural fabric but don’t know how it would do with synthetic fabrics that can’t handle warm or hot water. I definitely recommend trying this over calamine, calahist, ivarest, etc. Yes it’s pricy but it is totally worth it and you will finally get relief.

It’s alright
I walk barefoot in poison ivy throughout the summer and frequently get blisters between the toes or on the calves with associated itching. This product is effective in soothing irritated skin but for me it doesn’t stop the itching. It is nice to have a jar on hand in your toiletries bag or medicine cabinet just for its moisturizing properties.

Works
Every year I get a terrible poison ivy reaction. I work in my flower garden which always gets poison ivy growing in it. I have tried all kinds of things. This is the best treatment I have found. It is a little grease feeling when you first put it on and it takes a minute for my skin to quit itching but it makes such a difference in the way my skin looks. This minimizes the skin reaction. My skin doesn't raise up in high red blistery welts. It calms my reaction down. You can still see some bumbs but much smaller. My skin doesn't get as red. It doesn't take weeks for the redness to leave my skin. I still try to use a blocker but I can't find one that works that well, since I can't find Ivy Block anymore. So I still get poison ivy but now I can use this to minimize the reaction. I can't praise this stuff enough.
