Reloading Headed Decapping Pins 10pack

Works for Lapua small flash hole.Fits and Works great on Frankford Arsenal hand deprimer. Does not work on Lee Collet die, however, it seems to work on Lee decaping die.

Original decapping pin bent easily in my Lee Universal Decap Die. Switched it with one of these, and it has yet to bend. Seems to be a stronger steel and the pin is narrow enough to still make it through extra narrow primer flash holes that caused an issue with stock die pins. I use this to decap stiff primers that may damage my FL resizing die.

I just finished de priming and sizing 2,100 5.56 rounds and the decapping rod worked perfectly. I run a lee universal decapping die in front of my rcbs fl sizing die (with the decapping pin removed) on my lee loadmaster progressive press and I didn't break a single rod. 70% of the cases were military crimped and I still didn't have a problem. I would say this is a good product and we'll worth the money. To the people who say they are trash I would suggest trying to find the reason it isn't working because something is wrong with your press or the set up if you consistently are breaking them. There were a few (had red around the primer) that I would start to pull the handle down and I could tell something was wrong by the amount of pressure I was using so I just threw that case out. Overall I am super impressed and they are just as good as Lee's replacements.

Genuine Hornady is second from right. The pin to the right is too wide for a Hornady system.The three to the left I was able to make fit by filing the heads down slightly. The manufacturer needs to take a little more off the size of the head and it would be a good product.I had asked if these would fit a Hornady press and was assured that they would, unfortunately this was not the case.The manufacturer was prompt in issuing a refund to me and I would happily purchase again if the pins are retooled to fit a Hornady system as obviously a very honest retailer.Perhaps they will rectify this in future production runs.

The price of these was the best.I found the quality is justi as good

they do work, but find they break easily or bend easily. this is no different from the original, so quality is the same as the original. wish they were more in a bag.

These are well machined, well manufactured, and do exactly what you want them to do-- deprime over and over without the pin bending, breaking, etc. I'm only on my first pin, but it's been great. My last one (the original that came with the Lee Universal Decapper) was slightly bent, kept missing the flash hole, and it was time for it to be retired.I forgot how smooth depriming is supposed to be! These new ones from MCJ tools are great. Everything you need, nothing you don't.
