This is a concise and.comprehensive vocabulary development program in a fun-to-use format. I had used it in the past to prepare students for the NJSAT examinations and have notes from students saying how much it helped them. I purchased this for a second grade grandnephew who loves words. I wish it came in a larger print format, but it is still better than anything else I have seen.

I read this book in high school and it helped me become an excellent writer. It is easy to follow and keeps you entertained with its anecdotes and well presented repetition. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to improve their language and speaking skills!

This book is a great buy for anyone who wants to increase their vocabulary. It breaks down words into their parts so that mixing and matching parts allows you to figure out the meanings of words that you otherwise would never bother to memorize. I strongly recommend this book.

Well, if you are someone looking to take their vocabulary to whole new level, like you probably did with Word Power Made Easy, then let me tell you - that this book is not for you. This book is targeting high school students trying to work on their vocab and if you have done the other book, I am pretty sure you are way past that level.So, the So it is somewhere about the lower-intermediate level, I'd say for teenagers perhaps. Nonetheless, I was just someone looking for new books that can help me add words to my friends list, since I wrote GRE and was looking to further extend my vocabulary (like, make it a nice little habit) while preparing for TOEFL. So, If you are, by any chance, preparing for either and unless your vocab needs to start from words like 'manage', 'completely', 'resent', etc., you may want to think again. It may have a few advanced level words and it may surprise you, but for someone who has already completed "Word Power Made Easy" - By the very same Norman Lewis, does not need this one.Since I took a cursory look through all the sessions and figured there wasn't much for me to learn from this book, I can't say how much it can help someone who actually completes it.

Poor paper quality, I expected the make quality of the book will be like many of the Goyal Saab books on vocabulary like word origins, six weeks to words of power etc. while ordering the book. But it was not a light weight paperback like them. A few pages are loosened. The publisher should consider bringing it out as a light weight paperback. I returned the book and got the money refunded.

This book helps people understand roots of each words which makes it easy to learn. But the book has minor damage at edges. overall it's a good book for english in intermediate level. This book is not for beginners ❤️
