Q: Can you use tennis balls?

It is recommended not to use any other balls other than specified and included balls. If you wanted to use this for tennis, I would not recommend it. There are better alternatives. If you wanted to use it for cricket, the balls are basically bowling machine balls so will bounce on any hard surface. There is no reason why you could not use tennis balls. All the system is a catch that releases and springs the ball to propel in your chosen direction, velocity etc.

Q: How do ypu get the battery cover off?

On the underside of unit is a button which when pressed down allows the battery cover to slide out.

Q: Can you please let me know if proper cricket balls or junior cricket balls can me used in the R66 feeder

No, only the balls provided with it can be used
