Loving Tan Deluxe Gradual Tan (Dark)

Such a perfect color. It's not splotchy or streaky if you apply it evenly. My friend uses the same one. She's naturally ginger, so she's very pale, and it looks so natural on her. It actually smells heavenly compared to other self-tanners, but at the same time, it's not heavily scented. It just smells a little bit like vanilla. I'm definitely purchasing again. If you're looking through reviews trying to decide whether to buy it, just do it, it's so worth the price. It was streaky the first time I did it, but that's because I put it on totally wrong. Follow the steps, and it looks amazing!

I first bought the light color to see how it works on my skin, I haven't used a self tanner in quite a while but I want to minimize sun damage to my skin. Other tanners I tried in the past have been streaky and too orange so I was nervous about trying this. I have light skin that does tend to a red undertone sun tan. The light color is very light, but I didn't have any streaking. It took about 3 applications over a couple of days to get a good shade of tan, no orange tones, and then I had to re-apply about every other to every 3 days. I haven't had any color transfer to my clothes, which is great because I've ruined bras and shirts with tanners I've used in the past. I decided to try the medium shade to see if it would be less work and it is. I get a nice shade of tan with one application instead of three, but there is more chance of streaking, especially on areas like feet because I just do the tops, so you can see where the tanner stops and my paler skin color starts. Might try using the medium for my legs and the light for tops of feet so my feet aren't pale but just have a hint of color. I also bought a set of facial and body mitts for application, not this brand, a cheaper set, and I'm so glad I did, they make application so easy and no accidental color transfer to hands/nails. Now my routine is the medium tanner 1-2 times a week on my body and the light tanner on my face every other day.

This is a great product! You can use it to establish a natural looking tan or you can use it to extend the life of their tanning mousse. I do both. Some days when I'm in a rush and don't feel like dealing with the mousse I can put this lotion on in 3 to 4 minutes and the next morning I have a beautiful color. Please keep in mind that the lotion will not achieve the same dark results as the mousse. If your looking for a deep, Dark tan then try their mousse. Its excellent!
