I bought this clock on a whim to teach them once and for all how to tell time on a real clock. And to my surprise they loved the colors and design! They actually wanted to learn how to use it. The hands and labels make it super easy to understand "half past" and "a quarter till". And after a week my kids can tell time perfectly! I hung it above our kitchen sink and when I told them that they had learned to tell time and we could take it down they all said "No!!" they love the way it looks and it is so well made! Thick and chunky but modern colors! The battery has been in now for awhile and not issues. We even changed the time for daylight savings - no issues.
