I like it a lot n stuff.
This thing is bonkers. Super torque and will break bolts like it’s nothing compared to the stubby m12.

Useful, maybe not needed for everyone
I got this because I had some gift card money to use up, so basically I got it for free. I am not convinced everyone can benefit from a 3/8" drive impact, but I will say it is handy to have when working on the suspension of a car. This is due to how awkward it can be to get into the tight spaces, and that makes it hard to get bolts out. This thing takes a lot of that work and makes it easy. Saves a lot of time, and wear and tear on your body. I did my rear shocks with it, where my 1/2" impact wouldn't fit in most places, and my 1/4" was too underpowered. This was small enough and tough enough to get it done. Took about 15 minutes per shock, including how long it took to get it all lined back up and back together. Normally I would have taken more like 40 minutes per shock, due to how long it takes to bust the bolts loose and ratchet them out, then ratchet them back in. So I would say if you are working on cars a lot, this can be useful. Otherwise, it's probably an expensive luxury. I don't regret getting it, but if it wasn't for the gift cards I had I probably wouldn't have got it.Feature wise, I want to also comment that it has multiple settings for torque, so you can get max torque coming off, but reduce it to put back on. This makes it so you don't accidentally break the head off a bolt or tear up your threads (I suggest just getting it close, and then torque wrenching to spec). I also like that it has lights that are inline with the socket; you can see fine in even the darkest areas. Feels good in the hand, and the stub nose design makes it easier to get into really tight places. It has a hanger on the side to hang from your belt, but I find with this tool that is mostly un-needed, and can also be removed.I would say to be sure to get this specific model, as Milwaukee also makes a slightly more compact model that is much less powerful. This can do 600lbs of bolt breaking torque, while the smaller model can only do 250lbs, and is not much more compact. I doubt it will fit in any more places than this will, but that loss of torque will matter for tougher jobs. My 1/4" can probably work just as well as that one. Also, there is an M12 version that uses the smaller batteries. They are otherwise the same tool, same specs and all. BUT!! The larger batteries of the M18 model allow it to reach better and more consistent overall torque than the M12 model can, and thus is worth the additional money, not to even mention the better battery life and sharing M18 batteries with other more powerful Milwaukee tools. I have a drill, 3 impacts, and a Sawzall that uses M18 batteries, so it made sense to pick up the one that uses the M18.

Great replacement for my old Milwaukee impact (9yrs old). This thing has almost 3 times the power as my old one n weighs about the same. Looking forward to putting this one to good use.
