## Description

NEW RELEASE: uvBeast VERSION 2. THE MOST POWERFUL AND BEST REGARDED UV TORCH IN ITS CLASS JUST GOT EVEN MORE POWERFUL![Registered Design]Since release of the original version uvBeast demand grew so strong and feedback so positive that people asked for more! Since then many copycats, look-a-likes, and cheaper clones appeared so we got to work again (with a Registered Design)WHAT’S IN VERSION 2It’s been inspired by working with some of the top government agencies who used the original uvBeast. Simply put, it has more power, more intensity, more range, and a better quality UV flood beam (385-395nm with more useable UV)NOW HIGHER DEFINITION UV FLOODWith larger LED chips and better optics, you now have an even higher definition UV flood that you won’t find in other models. You’ll get more useable UV light for your money and better results. So much so, that we’ve had to include optimized spectrum transmission UV glasses to prevent any eye fatigue that comes with this kind of UV power! It really isn’t a marketing gimmickPROVEN AND TESTEDWe’ve already rolled this out to an early group of professionals and enthusiasts who are hard to please! We got a strong thumbs up, which means that you won’t be making a blind investmentCLAIM TO FAME?Producing a mega power and high intensity UV beam isn’t easy. Especially a flood beam, unbeatable throw range, and a quality beam in the UV spectrum, into one torch! It’s big league and commercial class. Ever since our focus began on a better level and brand of UV torch with the original uvBeast, many now claim the same. Fair enough. As long as those claims are valid. Anyone can draw up a nice chart and write down impressive specifications. We get that. So instead, WE SHOW YOU what the uvBeast Version 2 is capable of. Take a look and you decide if it’s time to upgrade into a higher class of ultraviolet light

Review: Pros: I used it the day it arrived and within 15 minutes I found 11 Scorpions, 10 of which were tiny babies and this was along a 100 foot length of the east perimeter fence right next to my house. It lights up Scorpions at about ten feet even if they are tiny babies. Maybe further, but that's as far as I have used it distance wise. You see that blue spot and as you get closer you can see the very clear outline of a Scorpion. When you are up close you see the Scorpion clearly and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Without this light you'd never know it was there until it's too late. Gives me the creeps knowing how may times I've traversed the same area in shower shoes. Never again! The fence line there borders BLM land. Went out again on Safari looking for Scorpions and found more more next to the Pistachio trees and the well. Again, gives me the creeps knowing how many times I've been there wearing only shower shoes sandals on my feet. I've never seen so many Scorpions in my life as I have in the past two days and right on my own property. Of course the one I found in the kitchen was what got all this started. Now I hunt Scorpions. Body design of this light and materials seems well constructed, good quality. Doesn't look nor feel like some cheap stamp out. The entire body of it is milled for easily having a solid grip on it. The only thing that could have made this even better is if it had been made in U.S.A. UVBeast needs to work on that. Now have used Onslaught FastCap Scorpion killer. We'll see how well that works out when I check with my new UVBeast2 later. Cons: When I first opened the package and went to install the batteries a rubber O-ring type gasket fell onto the table as I unscrewed the end cap. It had been ripped apart. I'm guessing it's supposed to seal the battery cap, but this one never made it to my home in proper condition. I'll be contacting the manufacture about this tomorrow if all goes well. Other than that, no problems. I did notice that despite this using LEDs, or at least that's what they look like, the head of the light gets really warm. It's not any problem, just an observation. Doesn't seem to harm anything. I suppose it can't be helped, but this light will also light up some kinds of debris type trash. For example, if your dog ran off with a pillow out into the yard and chewed it to death that white cotton like stuffing also lights up with that same blue dot effect. Stuff you didn't even know was in your yard. Of course you can quickly tell the difference between that and a Scorpion. Make no mistake, there is no mistaking that very detailed outline. Recommendation: Definitely happy with this UV light so far. Highly recommend it. It's going to get a lot of use. Like I said, it gives me the creeps knowing that I've got such a Scorpion infestation, but now that I know I can do something about it. Scorpions can be deadly to children and the elderly, not to mention life threatening to just about anyone. Most definitely will give you a very bad day if you survive getting stung by one. They're voracious climbers, though surprisingly I didn't find any in the trees. Climbing up the side of your home though and into the attic via a gable vent is definitely not good. That allows them access to your home via any space around a ceiling fan, light fixtures, register, vent, attic access door, or up-duct they can fit through. If you have a ceiling fan over your bed you won't be sleeping too well knowing what might drop down onto that fan motor housing and then onto your blanket. That's horror movie stuff right there. Update: I contacted the folks at UVBeast about the O-ring issue. Great conversation with Karl and exceptionally helpful with supplying extra knowledge for hunting Scorpions. Willing to help immediately on the first contact. Now that's customer service! O-ring replacements are on the way. Two other points: 1) The spare O-rings were supposed to be in the bubble wrap bag with the flashlight and might be easily missed. Well, they weren't, but this might help others to know where to look. 2) It's claimed that the light doesn't work on tiny baby Scorpions and adult Scorpions that have recently went through their molt due to a lack of florescence. I don't know about the molt thing, but I can tell you that this light will most definitely light up those tiny babies like little blue beacons. Found 10 of them along the over a 100 foot east perimeter fence line going forward towards the front of the property in ten minutes. Ya, it definitely works. :o) Update 2: Well, I laid down a spray of Onslaught FastCap Scorpion killer and the following day started using the UVBeast2 to look for Scorpions. It's been near two weeks now and not one single Scorpion has been spotted. So far, Peace of mind. Side note: For those of you who want to tease your wife, and are in a position to not find yourself on the receiving end of a rolling pin thumping, I noticed something else that UVBeast2 does. If you are using cast iron for cooking and you think it's perfectly clean, whip out your UVBeast2, turn off the lights, and then call for the Misses. If you survive what she sees on that cast iron then either it's actually clean or the Misses is going to be demanding new cookware. Quite possibly you will as well. :oD
Review: very powerful

## Features

- WHY uvBeast VERSION 2? The most powerful and best regarded UV Torch Black Light Flashlight in its class just got more powerful! Everything you loved about the original version but more! More power, more range, better build and an upgraded UV beam makes this an even better investment. PRO TIP: Anyone can claim superior UV, but ask them to prove it. We can and have on this listing. IF IT DOESN’T HAVE OUR NAME IT’S NOT THE SAME
- EVEN MORE POWER. Unlike others we’ve pushed the envelope. Larger newer LED chips makes the uvBeast even more of a monster. The UV output is even more spectacular than before, so we’ve included glasses with great optics to tame this beast a little!
- EVEN MORE UV SPREAD. Remember the difference between standard TV and wide screen? You’ll see a whole lot more at once. A wider angle of UV floodlight will do your job that much better. Don’t just take our word for it, everybody says so
- EVEN MORE RANGE. UV range makes a big difference. Do you want your UV to go a few feet ahead or tens and tens of feet ahead? Well with Version 2 we tested UV dye out to 90 feet, successfully! See the pictures on this listing. We think it can do more
- EVEN BETTER UV QUALITY. uvBeast Version 2 has upgraded HIGH DEFINITION UV as compared to other market examples, making this the UV Torch you wished you always had. It really does leave others for dust. No brag. It is what it is. We were asked by well-known government agencies to enhance the original uvBeast. So we did. And it’s now available to you

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Could this light be used to cure paint?**
A: Only uv coatings

**Q: Does this product emit shortwave UV light or longwave UV light?**
A: Thanks for your question. The uvBeast emits longwave ultraviolet light. Here's some comparative information on short and long wave which for your reference is measured in nano meters (nm for short). UV light is subdivided into three bands: UV(A) (315-400nm), UV(B) (280-315nm) and UV(C) (100-280nm). It is the UV(A) component of our UV LEDs that cause and is responsible for excitation of target objects which allows them to fluoresce. Longwave applications cater for domestic and professional contexts, while shortwave applications are for specialist industries such as clinical, bio-medical, geological, etc. Hope that informs. uvBeast

**Q: What is the purpose of a UV light like this?**
A: Read my review as I use it to check for everything from pet stains, UV reactive materials, and gemstone verification. The light it shines works in daylight and can find some pests such as scorpions and bedbugs.

**Q: Does this fit 18650 batteries?**
A: Hi there. Thanks for your question. No the 100 LED versions do not accept 18650. HOWEVER due to numerous demand, the uvBeast V3 does, which has just been released. This is an improvement over the V2 and also represents huge cost savings with regards to battery supplies. Just click on the "uvBeast" link right at the top of our listing which takes you to the range of our UV flashlights. Let us know if you need any more information. [uvBeast]
