Perfect!
Fit my fittings perfectly! No one has a bottom up P Trap nut in 1 1/2 inches. I was worried I would never find it! For those that say it leaks, if you don't put PVC cement under the nut once you screw it in and set it, it will leak. There is a small margin of perfection, and since it is bottom up, if you don't line it up perfectly, it will leak. So slap some cement on the bottom, after priming, and you will be set. My old one, made in America, was exactly the same. Very pleased I found this P Trap!

Worked with NIBCO p-trap
Needed to replace just the u bend on a p-trap and had a hard time finding a unit that had the union nut the u portion vs the elbow bend (the NIBCO version apparently has changed where the nut is which was what I had installed but couldn’t find their “old” version). This worked with my old NIBCO elbow and threaded well without any leaks.

Garbage - No QC
I was very happy to get this overnight as I needed to complete a repair. This particular design is not carried in the box stores. Imagine my utter frustration when it would not thread on to my existing elbow. I had ordered 2 different 1.5s and the other threaded but had its own issues. This one absolutely has a manufacturing issue. I don't assume I do not know the size needed. I am positive this was the right size and as I said I had another brand the same size that would thread also. An easy repair once you get the parts that is now still not done. And it is not returnable because I welded the other side for installation. Total disappointment.

Not easy to find but looked for 193211N PVC matched existing.
Looked at Lowes and Home Depot and after several trips back and forth but they did not have the exact same part. Checking Amazon for the correct part number did the job with all components needed. Bought extension PVC pipe at Lowes. The item is well made and worked well with the contact cement.

It fit and it works
Needed a special thread and this part was exactly what was needed. It fit and it works.

One Size Doesn’t Fit All
A recent remodel required the shifting of a sink 6-8” laterally. The existing stub out from the wall was terminated in a 1-1/2” 90° male threaded elbow union followed by the P-trap. Labeled “MADE IN U.S.A.” The elbow was solvent welded to the stub out and could not be altered. Thus, only the P-trap needed to be replaced. The lateral offset would be accomplished by adding a street elbow to a new P-trap, a length of pipe and then a long sweep elbow to the sink tailpiece. The threaded portion of the existing elbow union at the stub out measured 2.340" OD with 11.5 TPI. The NIBCO K00595H U4895 PVC P-Trap with union HXH (Hub x Hub solvent weld) measures 2.337” OD with 11.5 TPI for a perfect fit. However, the threads on the Canadian manufactured Canplas 193211N P-trap are just over 1/16" less in diameter (2.264" OD) with 10 TPI making it impossible to use on my existing installation. The P-trap plastic nut was too small in diameter to fit the existing elbow union but if it had managed to fit, the plastic nut would not have matched the threads (10 TPI vs the necessary 11.5 TPI). I assume this is due to a spec difference between US and Canada.Note: if one is not trying to fit to existing plumbing and starting from a clean plate, both of these products will work perfectly. Also note that the threaded connection forces two slanted “cones” to lock together. One on the P-trap and one on the 90° threaded elbow union. There is no gasket seal nor is any sealant used on the treads. One other minor idiosyncrasy: the original P-trap measured 3.5” from the center of its inlet to the center of its outlet (center of one hole to the center of the other). The NIBCO measures 3.25” and therefore shorter. This might become an issue if the tailpiece does not align. Ironically, the Canplas that didn’t fit, measures 3.5”.
