Excellent resource. Every spread is one side art, one side short write up explaining the idea. It's perfect for students who don't like to read the home work. And it'll help them get out of their design box, try new techniques, understand the historical significance and precedent of "trends" they all seem to think they came up with. I assigned it as a text for my undergrad design students who did not get much out of wheelers branding identity or the advertising creative strategy... Book.

Some cool stuff. Not really for everyone I guess. I won't be flipping through it too much.

This book is a little parochial for my needs, but as a new design professor, it will provide me with invaluable information to pass on to my students. I might even make it a required book.
