MoninHawaiian Island Syrup, 1 liter PET Bottle

I would recommend this syrup to anyone who wants to make their own boba tea. It smells great and does not taste cheap. I will definitely buy this again.

We do love the flavor... we just think it’s a little pricey.

This syrup tastes like a mixture of what is often sold as "hawaiian" flavor. It has hints of papaya, guava and mango plus some others that I do not have a refined enough pallete to detect.Mix it in a soda or with some coconut rum and a mixer of choice and it is a lovely way to pretend you are somewhere more islandlike, or at least at a restaurant that wants to sell you on that experience.Knocked a star as it is fairly thick so use with care.

I would not order this again because it leaked in my delivery box

First of all, we love all Hawaiian flavors, especially Pog. Was excited to try this for ice tea. Have to say it was awful and tasted pretty much like cough syrup. So disappointing when we looked forward to the passion fruit and guava flavors it should have had.

Didn't care for the citrus taste. It was a bit much. Also, Amazon please do better with sending out items with a very near expiration date. I received it today Jan 13, 2018 and it expires Feb 2018. I have purchased other Monin products and they have had 1.5yrs noted on bottle before expiring. I felt obligated to open right away. The syrup appeared a bit cloudy not sure if it was because of the date or the product always appears that way. This was a new flavor I was trying. I will think twice before purchasing individual bottles from here again.
