This is a general review of the Klarfit trailer( metal frame with cover ) and optional drybag. Both items arrived in perfect order barring two loose spokes on one of the wheels, easily sorted with spoke wrench. I've given 5 stars based on initial impressions as opposed to long term use, I'll update if any major issues.Overall Quality:The trailer is powder coated and all the welds were full. Everything fitted together perfectly and the base cover contains velro'd pockets containing removable plastic stiffeners. These are in the ends where the trailer is open and in the base so loads are evenly spread rather than resting on the spars of the frame chassis. The base cover appears waterproof/resistant and is made of heavy duty cordura style material with velcro along its sides to keep it firmly in place. The cover/lid is also made of similar material and it is plastic coated inside just like a bicycle pannier so it appears to be waterproof. It has 4 velcro straps along its sides to strap it to the trailer chassis and velcro along its end sides that locates with velcro on the base cover. All very neat and it works. The tow bar is nicely executed and fixes in two positions trailer mode and handcart mode. It's also good in respect of fitting such that the trailer does not have much tilt fore to aft, not all do.Drybag:The drybag is very sturdy and made from very thick plastic material, waterproof. The base has a very gloss black material that is thicker than the sides. I loaded it with 4 full supermarket shopping bags( a weeks shopping ) and it fitted comfortably. It has 4 velcro straps to locate to trailer frame plus the end catches for closing it. The dimensions match the amazon image when measured. The roll top worked when it was fully loaded. I was pleasantly surprised at the general build quality it is a very solid feeling bag from the materials it's made from.Trailer Measurements:I've measured and weighed various parts of the trailer that may be of use in decision making. Without load it was easy to forget you were towing it..... in fact I had to look back to check at one point. On bumpy roads it rattles occasionally from the base board bouncing on trailer, not unexpected. Smooth roads it's silent. With load it behaved well but with obviously more effort required on gradients but I never felt the trailer was trying to push the bike when braking etc. On the flat I could tick along at 16-18mph comfortably with the 20kg load, easier than I was expecting. This appears to be a well thought out trailer that although not folding flat will accommodate all of its parts( towbar and wheels ) within it's body+covers for storage. A trailer and handcart plus a pull down "kickstand" allowing the trailer to free stand when not connected to the bike, very useful feature.Hope this detail helps people. If there are any major issues I'll update this review to reflect such.

i ordered the trailer with the wooden deck , came quickly , so simple to put together , i use it to transport tool boxes and telescopic ladders around the city , its perfect ... for the money its well built, simple , looks really good and handles really well when your cycling , even at 25-30 mph fully loaded its very stable ..... only improvement i made was to buy some nice skateboard decking sandpaper to put in the flatbed bit just so that any cargo cant slide . i have seen trailers costing a lot more that were not as good as this ..... thanks

I am so glad I got this! I was undecided for a while, as there were cheaper versions on the market. In the description it sounded great. so I bought it and when it arrived I wasn't disappointed! The quality of all the components are excellent and it was a piece of cake to assemble. I ignored the instructions as instructions are often confusing, but it was really straight forward. I love the quick release wheels, and the foldaway stand. It comes with a high tension strap and buckle and ample anchor points on the wood deck. All of it is top notch including the wheels and tyres. The plywood deck is very thick and extremely durable .and very well made. Well worth the money. you get what you pay for most definitely!

A great addition for my bike and highly recommended. I'll be using this to go collect tatties from the farm and for taking the inflatable boat to the lochs.
