Smaller than expected
The tin is fantastic, would have loved the cards to be a little bigger though as they are TINY and will easily go missing.Cards are double sided with items listed on both sides.

Fantastic game for kids!
Great gift for a birthday party or even just for your own kids-- comes with 100 cards-- (50 double sided) with a picture and description of what they much find-- if you have a non-reader-- you can give them the easier cards and they can use the pictures to find the items. Some items are tougher than others- and i give those to my 10 year old.-- but the kids LOVED it! we also did the captain clean-up round at the end- and bam- all the mess was cleaned up. great game for inside, rainy day, i'm bored, etc

Fun...but with rules!
I ordered this for my grandchildren, ages 6 and 9, who LOVE scavenger hunts. The game has cards with pictures of items that can mostly be found around anyone's house. Any age child could easily play. My grandchildren love the game BUT beware as they can really make a mess because they are frantically running around the house, gathering the objects, then bringing them back to a central location within a short amount of time. It's a very competitive game and I can see that "accidents" could happen. I have made 2 rules: you cannot go looking in drawers for items and whatever you get out must be put back in its place. I also tend to limit which cards I pull out for them to use! All in all, I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys scavenger hunts; it's really great for days when it's too cold, too hot, or rainy and the kids cannot get outside.

hours of entertainment
I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical of how entertaining this could be, but wow, my 7 year old plays it for hours by herself! She loves pickign cards and finding the items around the house (then putting them back!!). Not good for kids that don't live in your house - it's a race to find stuff like 'find something green" or "find something soft" - so not fair game for kids outside the house, but it would be great for siblings.
