Me and my 3 teen girls have been using this brand for more than 10 years. My girls have hair ranging from wildly curly, to thick and wavy, to thin wispy & these clips hold them all. I work in health care & keep my short hair tightly pulled back & these clips hold around my small pony even though I pull face masks on & off repeatedly throughout the day. The quality is soooo worth it. The rubbery silicon pads snuggly grip hair in place without excessive pulling or sticking. The thin, yet sturdy metal keeps its springy shape & doesn't warp. The clips use to have more of a glossy finish, but they now have a nice matte finish who I prefer. The only negative I have noticed is that the paint will wear and scratch off over time, but this is bound to happen with overuse (we just use those fully functional clips hidden under buns/ponys). We have clips that are more than 10 years old that still work great. I have strayed a few times to cheaper brands (see my photos) both online & in store and have been dissapointed every time. I pride myself on getting great deals & the value of these clips is definitely worth the cost.
