Golf ERC Soft Golf Balls

On a whim, tried the ERC Soft, almost all reviews found on the WWW are pretty good! Will have to agree with most of the reviews. Don't know if it was longer than most other balls I've played but it definitely held it's ground. A couple of drives landed suprisingly further than expected. Irons seemed to be a little longer as well, maybe a half a club, about 5 yards. Chipping and putting was on par. I had no problems holding greens or excessive roll out and a full PW, it backed up a few feet. Feel is definitely soft to soft-firm and not clicky. All in all happy with this ball. Will be using the Callaway ERC Soft for the rest of year! Can recommend... Currently palying to a 7.1HC

Love these golf balls, as described, affordable. I’m a senior woman golfer and I love the distance I get from these ERC soft golf balls. I would recommend these to other women golfers.

These have decent value for a mid handicapper. Hackers would be just as suited to a Noodle. Low handicappers should just play the Pro V for the difference in money.

My grandson loves these golf balls while on high school golf team.

I've never been a Calloway fan, more of a TM guy but decided to give these a shot after a friend was telling me about them & had me try 1 of his & I hit thr longest, starightest drives I've hit in several years. I'm 62 & can still hit em over 300 with my driver during warmer weather & if my body allows on that particular day but found my distance dwindling markedly recently. Of course, there could be many factors involved with that in this game. I don't play with a handicap, I could shoot 78 today & 2 days from now on the same course shoot 98, all depends on my back & neck on that particular day. But after hitting a 320 yard drive first try with this ball I decided to do a side by side test with my regular ball. Every driver shot was 20-30 yards longer or more with this Calloway ball. Distance with my irons isn't as important to me as accuracy but for an example I hit my 5 iron about 200, 7 iron 170, 9 iron 150. Each shot with this ball wasn't just a little further, but a little 'tighter', more accurate but also more importantly-the ball stuck to the green. Many drew back a foot or 2. I even hit a 260 yard 3 wood to a par 5 that took 1 5' bounce & sat. As for the bold alignment marks, they're a nice touch but don't help my putting as since I moved to Florida 20 years ago I instantly turned into Stevie Wonder on the putting green (nothing like putting on those bent grass greens up north!).

Definitely an upgrade from supersofts

I usually use the cheaper Callaway Supersoft triple track balls but they were out of stock and I needed some balls quickly so I had to stump up the extra £13 for a dozen of these. From driver to putter these balls give a lovely constant feel without being overly soft - although I wouldn’t say my driver distances were notably better over the cheaper Supersoft balls. I’m an athletic 50 year old 15 handicapper, but historical sport injuries/surgeries have limited my swing speed to <80mph which may account for the similar drive distance but I did notice I had more control on approach shots and they feel nicer off my short irons and wedges. They also don’t cut up despite being a “soft” ball. On the whole - I really liked these balls with the only downside for a high(ish) handicapper like myself being the cost. At around £3 a ball it’s still painful when I put one in the water or the bushes - but that’s my deficiency not the ball. I’ll put these on my Christmas/Birthday present list so my kids can pay for my next batch!!

Ich habe die Callaway ERC Soft Golfbälle ausprobiert und bin begeistert! Schon beim ersten Schlag merkt man das hochwertige Gefühl – weich im Treffmoment, aber mit ordentlich Power. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Kombination aus Länge und Kontrolle. Der Ball fliegt weit und bleibt trotzdem gut steuerbar, vor allem beim kurzen Spiel und auf dem Grün. Das Triple-Track-Design ist ein echtes Plus: Die Ausrichtung beim Putten wird spürbar einfacher, was sich positiv auf mein Spiel ausgewirkt hat. Auch die Haltbarkeit ist top – selbst nach mehreren Runden sehen die Bälle noch richtig gut aus. Für mich ist der ERC Soft eine super Wahl für alle, die ein ausgewogenes Gesamtpaket suchen. Definitiv ein Ball, den ich weiterhin spielen werde!
