Is this product tested for lead or heavy metals? Thanks

I don't know about this, but can tell you this product doesn't work to coagulate soy milk into tofu. I have a soymilk/tofu machine and followed the directions explicitly. I added 1Tbsp. of glucono delta lactone to 16 oz. of soy milk (to make 1 standard cube), waited the specified time, but nothing happened. I added another Tbsp. and another, and another. Absolutely no coagulation. I tasted it, and it was so bitter that I had to throw it out. I'll be buying magnesium/calcium chloride (nigari salts) for the next try.
