Works as intended
Worked fine the 1st time out of the box and took a charge with no issue.

Battery is working great for my HF R400, Charger is working too but not what I ordered
I bought the BM Battery for my HF R400 in Feb 2016, - and yes, it's decoded, my recorder shows the time left, and the time on this battery is a bit more (177mins fully charged -- which is slightly more than the time on my OEM battery (though my OEM has been used a bit). It fits nicely on the camera, not too tight or too lose.HOWEVER, from this same listing I also ordered the BM Charger for this BM Battery but I got a different one sent to me. (Both the Battery and Charger were listed as Sold by Big Mike's Electronics and Fulfilled by Amazon.Now, I get that these chargers all really look alike, and are probably all made by the same people overseas, but I had hoped to pair my new Big Mikes (BM) Battery with the BM Charger, to make it easier to recall which charger goes with which battery (I have many batteries and chargers for many different Canon video recorders, and they all look very similar. The charger did work, though I had to put two pieces together when it arrived (that was the design of it), and that was not hard, but a bit of a surprise. Maybe these aftermarket ones all work that way The BM Battery did fit nicely into this charger, and it did charge the battery. But it's not what I had hoped for. I guess I will get out my label maker and put something on this charger to remind me which one it's for.

Haven't had them very long, but they work with my camera and I'm very happy! Thank you!
Haven't had them long enough to run them down so I don't know how long the capacity is. As well I can't rate how long they will continue to work, but they fit and work well with my camera and I'm very happy so far. As advertised. Priced right. Thank you!

Charges quick. Lasts a long time. I bought 2 batteries so I have a back-up if I'm recording alot.
