Tandberg PrecisionHD USB Teleconference Web Camera (TTC8-03)

If you are a Mac user do not buy this camera; I wouldn't buy even if I wasn't a Mac user because there is NO support. I purchased because it specifically stated that it compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 or higher. When it arrived, I plugged it into my MAC and nothing. Got a green light on the camera and nothing. No instructions are provided with the camera -- just a small fold out that explain where the light and microphone are. Went to the website and ciscocommunitysupport and nothing but gibberish about "buggie" connections and downloading special drives that were not liked to the website. Called Cisco support and a polite gentlemen from India told me that I "was not entitled to support from Cisco and that I should call the Vendor: CompuLand Direct. Called CompuLand's two support lines. One number was a recording that said asked me for the name of the party I was calling. The other line was a recording to call back later or leave a number and they would try to call me back. Folks, $200 is a lot of money to spend for a camera. All I was trying to do was upgrade the view of my camera so I could Skype better with my grandchildren in this shelter in place COVID 19 brave new world we're living in. To the Vendor and manufacturer, if you're going to do business on the web and appeal to consumers, then have support for everyday people and not a lot of techie talk that no one but a few understand. HOW RUDE!!!!!

Super happy. Easy to set up. The image quality is great. Works with my old mac book pro. Good value for money.

Got this used and worked right about the box on my Mac Book Pro circa 2017. Great quality for video conferences.The previous owner may have already updated the firmware.

Not a 1080p-capable webcam as prior reviewer states but a much better than average 720p webcam. The optics are top notch, as one might expect at the price, and there is a motorized zoom in this thing which is fairly rare. The camera manages to work well even in low-light, casting good contrast-y image where other cameras would show a grainy image. The case is beautifully machined, very thick aluminum and the whole glamorous package really earns it's price tag.

My dad works for a company and they gave him this webcam for free. He quit and he gave it to me. It is an amazing camera capable of 720p HD. It has very smooth fps. But note that you need to be in good lighting for the camera to have really good quality.
