Not what it was any more...
Today I still remember the taste of Mother's Garlic or Lemon Pickles from about 10 years back. After many years I bought both pickles some days back. They are no more named Mother's Pickles but instead one can only buy "Mother's Recipes" and in my opinion the new pickles taste can not be compared to the pickles we loved so much any more: they are very salty, have way more chili and are much more moist than the ones we remember. In short version - I am not going to buy this product any more. I will definitely try some other pickles from Amazon and just hope to find something equivalent to the old Mother's...I looked into different listings of the 10 best pickles in India and interestingly Mother's Recipe does not come up in these lists any more - so, it's not only my taste buds that are "out of sync".
