Q: Where is the battery? And is it changeable?

The battery is housed inside the in-line controller (the little boxy bit on the wire) It is not removable.

Q: How does this recharge, micro usb or proprietary connection? and if so, where does it connect, to the microphone piece? thanks.

It's a micro USB. There's a small rubber-like cap that pops loose and rotates away to reveal the port on the backside of the mic.

Q: How long does it take to recharge?

If they're dead, just under an hour. After a few hours use, they can fully charge in 10 minutes. They hold a charge for about 7.5 hours of continuous use.
