Cool toy
Well I bought this to inspect a 1 1/4 sewer line. It worked flawlessly. Love this camera. There’s nothing I didn’t like about it.Clear image, was able to snake down a 100’ line easily, and show me any issues that there may have been.

Worth It
I bought a $40 tiny scope that wi-fid to my phone. It needed to be connected to my hand snake to get down the sewer line because it was not stiff. It worked ok, but it would get wet and produce poor pictures, but I knew I was on the right track. I've had roots penetrating this old sewer line as I have plummers come out about every 6 months. I now know why. These pictures showed clearly the amount of roots in my system. I used the scope to follow after a snake so I could work the bad spots. This is really the only effective way I can imagine to use a snake otherwise it just pokes through the roots. The good news is that the scope works great. The bad news is I really need to replace the line. Some more good news is just two uses of the scope will pay for itself as the plummer wants $289 to scope the line. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the instructions really aren't. They are just pictures of the components and you are on your own learning how to operate it. A live view is REALLY easy as you just hook it up and turn it on. The DVR is another story. If you have a chronic problem and not enough dough to replace the line, this is a no brainer. I look forward to observing how this flush down your toilet root killer works... or not.

Excellent product!
I ordered this camera to find out if I had a crack in an underground drain from house. Item worked without any flaws and was able to figure out that the pipe was cracked as thought. Camera works great to find the problem but if I had to do it all over again I would have bought their model that included the ability to locate end of camera with an above ground receiver. Our pipe had several elbows in it and was hard to pinpoint where the camera was to start digging it up. Other than that I will be forever using my camera in the future! Thanks!!
