Tension Rods 28 to 48 Inches 6 Pack Adjustable Extension Black Spring Loaded Curtain Tension Rod for Windows, Closet, Cupboard, Kitchen, Bathroom, Wardrobe

Spring extension curtain rods. I wanted black, and not the flimsy ones! I bought 2. The second was for a 48" wide window which is listed as the widest width. It was sturdier than I expected, doesn't sag, although it might with a heavy fabric. I plan to buy the next size longer because I have another window that is 62".I really like whatever they use to make the transition from large to small end of the rod----curtain OR rings slide nicely/smoothly.Very happy.

I use these to hold my vinyl stair runner in place on my 8 carpeted steps… Now I can easily remove the long runner to hose it off and vacuum the carpet on the stairs also. Adjustable and sufficient tension to stay in place. The price to do this was excellent. One downside, there are 6 in the package and I could have used 7 .. so I just skipped the bottom step.

Used for odd width windows with sheer curtains. Fall when curtains are tugged, but keeps in place otherwise. Would not use for heavier curtains.

For the price that I paid, I wasn't expecting much at all. In fact, I was expecting to have to return them but when I tested one in my daughter's bedroom, it seemed like it will be ok. Her curtains are lightweight darkening curtains and are currently being held up just fine with clothespins so I am pretty sure these will work fine. I love how easy they are to put up and take down by myself. As far as actual sturdiness, they are a bit flimsy and I wouldn't mess with them when they are up there.

Nice little lite weight rods. Good $. Do not try to hang any heavy curtains if you need the full extension, probably will fail.

I ordered these to use in a small cabinet to hang a few shirts on and it was simple to get in place and would hold even heavier garments if I had a need. This was a pack of two so I wanted to find a use for the other one and did rather quickly, our water heater is in a small closet with no door and does not look the greatest, in no time I put the second in place with a long curtain and it made the entire room look inviting. There are probably many more uses for these, I am very happy with them.

The cheap plastic caps at the ends of the rods don't provide enough "grip" on whatever surface the rods are attached to, thus allowing the spring to easily become un-sprung. I would not buy this item again and am currently here shopping for a good replacement.
