There are many studies that state that L-leucine has very important anabolic effects when taking it close to your workouts, and even though whey protein contains L-leucine, adding some extra will balance the absorbtion and messaging to the cells to grow.I'm still trying the results, I can say they are not as noticeable just yet to difference them from a placebo effect, but on the other hand, this mixes great with my protein shake, has no flavor at all, there is no texture to it as it is super thin, and the price per serving is almost nothing, so it is worth trying.I'm a hard gainer, it is really hard to me to put some weight, and I gained around 4 pounds since I'm taking this every morning before my trainings, still can't fully tell if this is making the difference or it's just a weight bounce and I will be back in a month, but I will definitely try to keep everything the same and I'll come back to this review to update you.

I dump a scoop in my mouth and wash it down with water. Not that bad compared to some aminos like L-Arginine.

I would give this L-Leucine supplement zero stars if that was an option. It is absolutely awful. The taste and the smell are so bad,, that it’s impossible to use. It was a compete waste of money. It says unflavored on the label, but the taste and smell are powerfully disgusting to the point of being nauseating. Do not buy.
