Lasted 3 months then Trey would not open
Lousy product. Only used 1/2 dozen times then tray would not open. Throwing in trash today.

Bad product out of the box
I purchased this item for my parents because it can play multiple file types. Item I received was brand new in the box with new packing material inside, So I know for a fact that this wasn't a return. It was brand new.I installed the player with no trouble. It's a simple install with RCA cables to connect the TV and a power cord to plug in. Once up and running, I noticed that the video quality was horrific. Snowy and flickering picture, just like you would expect out of a TV from a horror movie. This is on the boot screen before even playing a video. I tested the machine with two different DVD movies that I know work just fine. Both were played in black and white, covered in snow. I then thought that the issue may be the cheap RCA cables that the unit came with. I grabbed my RCA cables out of the bedroom TV set up and used that to see if the issue was the cable, or the player. The picture quality was exactly the same. It wasn't the cables.To be clear, this is not a person upset by low video quality out of an inexpensive machine. Im not saying that I expected Ultra high rez perfection out of a $24 machine. This isn't the issue. Im saying that the product was faulty out of the box. This is obviously a broken product, out of the box that shouldn't have passed quality control.Im sending the unit back, but I don't trust the brand enough to give them a second chance, I will be replacing it with a competitors product.

Quality
The DVD player is working great right now, but this is my second one I've bought the first one broke after only 4 uses. Amazon did give me half the money back .
