5.0Ah 21.6V Replacement Battery

Purchased to replace the original Dyson charger that stopped charging due to a loose/worn adaptor plug, which I assume is from taking the weight of the vacuum in the wall mount/cradle many times. The plug itself looks basically identical and fits in the wall mount, but once installed, I noticed it sits slightly off of the exact position needed for a smooth insertion and full contact of the adaptor to the vacuum (insert crude dad joke)… you have to slowly lower the vacuum into the cradle and kind of wiggle it into the right position. Does this bother me? Not particularly as it was half the cost and does indeed charge. I do wonder why Dyson didn’t go with an alternate charging method for the wall mount.

In the pictures the adapter looks angled and like it would fit in the dock. Unfortunately it’s a straight plug and not comparable with the dock. It still changes the vacuum it’s just a pain to not be able to use the dock. My vacuum has fallen 3 times since it has nothing to hold it up and can’t be docked.

I liked the price and size and the performance in charging our Dyson batteries.

I cannot rate it because the battery isn't charging and it's a new battery. ???? Dyson V6

I lost my original and bought this

Don’t rely on the description or the photos with this product. Their photo shows a angled plug like the part numbers listed should be , (goes into the wall mounted holder). This one is clearly a straight plug (attached photo). Charges great. Just won’t fit into the wall adapter like the part number and photos imply.
