Once in a while I buy Guava Jelly jam and the cover is a bit hard to unscrew. I usually have to knock it with a knife counterclockwise; but not with this tool. The build is solid, easy on the hand, lightweight, and will open sodas, jars, and other hard to open bottles with any type of metal cover. Love the design with the extra piece for prying. Great value for the money. Would like to see it in more colors.

This opener has helped me so much! It works great and I don't have to strain my fingers and wrist anymore. It's easy to use and lightweight. It has 4 sizes so it will open many twistable lids. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit some larger lids, but it is still definitely worth having around. I highly recommend!

Does the job, does the job well... easy to use, the leverage definitely makes opening stubborn jars much easier. I thought it was double sided, but I can only get it to work on one side so that's the 4 star vs. 5 star rating.

Best kitchen tool I’ve ever purchased. In a senior with severe arthritis and opening bottles and jars and things like that can be very painful and difficult. This tool makes it easy and near painless. I wish I had found this thing years ago. I highly recommend it to anybody with problems of mobility or other difficulties with manipulation.

Pay attention to the details! The manufacturer states this product will open up jars to 3 inches and that is very true, worked great on a small lid/jar. However, the jars I really needed this for were over 3 inches and the opener does not work for them. My fault for glossing over the details. However the manufacturer does state the hooks on top of the opener can be used for larger lids, but I found these "hooks" to be pretty useless and difficult to position and if the rim of the lid is too big it does not work at all. So, measure your jars, know which ones you need it for and if any of your jar lids are over 3 inches move on to another product.

My wife and I are turning 70 yrs old soon and we have lost some strength. We used to have to beat on lids with a butter knife to open them. This device works admirably. You can spread it easily , to fit on most jar lids and it grips well and off pops the lid!

This is a great tool but I did find it hard to put around a salsa jar which I believe is 3 inches. It was hard to stretch around but once I I got it place, it was easy to open the jar. This is the reason for only 4 stars. It is definitely worth the money as it it cheap enough to easily do plenty of jars etc.
