I have always wanted a button maker, and every time I priced them I was put off by the $300+ price tag. Tried this one on a recommendation from a friend, and it is awesome! Can’t believe how easy it is. The little circle cutter tool is indispensable.The instructions for assembly are kind of garbage, but if you look at them long enough they will gradually make sense.Still unsure where/how to buy refills, but hoping I can figure that out!

Easy to use, and extremely light weight compared to other button makers. Honestly, that's it's biggest selling point to me. It does make it a little less robust, and one of my kids did break a previous one, but they had to really try to break it. And I loved it so much that I am buying the exact same one again.

The machine WORKS, that much is true.The pin materials, however...Mine came with 500 sets of button pin metal fronts, plastic backs, and mylar circles. They all crimp and pull together great as long as things are aligned.However, some of them fell apart afterwards because the metal can't fully wrap around the plastic backing. I will need to add glue retroactively to every pin now, by gently pulling them apart and pressing them together again.I do NOT recommend adding glue before the crimping process, in order to protect your machine from spills.The machine is surprisingly sturdy, and I can tell that it'll last me a long time. The two step process was simple and easy, and I'm super excited to make plenty of buttons with better, all metal pin supplies.As a side note, you CAN make fabric buttons with minky-like material and thinner! It was effortless. I'll add pictures to my review if I can later.I bought this machine to start a pride pin business I'm calling Proud Fruit on Gumroad, and so far, they've all looked spectacular when made with this machine.

Great little machine! Great products as far as the backing and materials in the box also came with a perfect little circle cutter which works perfectly I found it best just to use it on top of an actual cutting board from the kitchen. Worked like a charm So much fun making them!

This press is all plastic and the pins do not line up for easy use. I was able to make one button and then it would not work at all no matter how carefully I aligned all the pins and holes. Also, the shaft was already starting to shave off the plastic as shown in the photo. Button quality was good and the one button I was able to make looked great. For the price expect it to last for more than one use.

Awesome machine, using this to make buttons in the classroom and kids adore it.

Instructions were not clear. Returned because I could not understand how to use.
