Quality rice for great paella
We love this authentic paella rice. Reminds us of Paella we got in Spain. The 3 keys to great paella - use quality rice, prepare sofrito from scratch with quality ingredients, and practice getting the socarrat just right. These are the secrets to paella your family or guests will rave about, and this rice checks the box for the first requirement. Highly recommend!

Excellent paella rice
This rice retains structure while it absorbs flavor. I also use it for arroz con pollo. It is not creamy like arborio and should not be for these Spanish dishes.

Update on my previous review: it wasn't the problem of the rice itself
This is an update on what I wrote about my purchase. The 2 packs of paella rice were received with full of the smell of laundry detergent. The rice was completely inedible at that time. After leaving it in a well ventilated area, and blowing it with hair dryer every day for over a week, the bad smell gradually went away. The rice tasted OK after all. I think it was the place where the rice was stored, likely the shipping center of Amazon, that had some sort of cleaning agents with strong scent sitting next to the rice, and containminated it.

This is good Paella rice. For those of you experimenting. Do not wash it, and do not overcook it and you will get fantastic results.

Paella turns out great every time I make it - highly recommend. Not sure what recipes you use but I also recommend the Goya Piquillo Peppers in the dish - great flavor ;)
