The built-in screen protector has open access and does not hinder use of any of the iPhone features including the Touch ID biometric finger print reader. Yes, you can use original apple charging cables and third party charging cables with this case. We do not recommend using L shaped charging cables for this case. Plastic but it’s not like that loose plastic . Like when you tap your screen and it’s all loud it’s tighter, I like it allot.
