I like the ease of being able to lift the drain and remove the hair that gets caught down the drain. It drains well and quickly. Works well and much cheaper than buying at my local store.

This is my 5th one. I’m a tile layer and all my customers love it.

Pro: I am so glad I made this choice! It looks awesome and people always comment on it. It was no more difficult to install than a standard drain. Standard drains get water spots and Corrode, this well not. Clearing the basket is a breeze. Simply insert a screwdriver and pry it up. I kept a paint can pry tool in the vanity drawer for this purpose. This Leeds me to the negative. Cons: The hair/debris basket gets clogged way to easy restricting flow. This is in my short hair son’s shower. The basket holes are too small collecting even insignificant debris. I found myself having to clear it out every other day. I cannot imagine how fast it would clog if it were in a woman’s bath. As a result I eliminated it. It is not mandatory and not a significant deterrent. I would make this choice again in a second.

We purchased this for our guest bathroom and looks BEAUTIFUL! And works perfectly well. It just takes a bit longer to clean the drain basket since you need to lift the lid and then reach for the basket. But it's not complicated to do, at all. So far, there are no chips in the painting and the black matte matches everything else in the same color in the bathroom.

My plumber could not find the drain connector part to buy anywhere so I cannot use this drain and it it too late to return it
