These are great. Using in a counseling practice with lots of traffic daily. Love the stiff hinge so it does not fall and make loud noises. Also it does not move around and is nice and stable. Very pleased!

I bought this toilet seat under the impression that it would gently lower itself all the way down after you started to pull it down and then release it. But it doesn't do that. It's simply a really stiff hinge that you have to manually move throughout the entire range of motion (if you let go, it will literally just stay in place at whatever angle it's at). It's confusing because my Toto toilet seat at home is labeled "soft-close" and it DOES self-lower. To me, "soft-close" and "no-slam" are synonymous, but I guess not! Can't really take away a star, though, because the description isn't really misleading in and of itself - it just appears it's inconsistent terminology being used among different manufacturers.Anyway, this seat took like 60 seconds to install (bolts, nuts, washers, and lock washers are included) and works great.

Very sturdy, easy to install, love the opening in the front and no lid.

Seat would have been perfect, but missing parts on all 4 seats I ordered. All of them was missing the washers and nuts. I was on a job site to replace toilets and caught me to surprise that all 4 was missing. Had to drive to the store to get nuts and bolts.
