I ordered this case before my new iPhone 12 had arrived, so I'd have something to put it in right away. Ordinarily, I'd have gone with a brand I know, e.g. Spigen, but I found the sliding camera cover to be a really nifty feature. It's nice peace of mind to know that my camera is covered when I'm not using it, so in the unlikely event that my phone is hacked, I won't be inadvertently live-streaming my private life. I know a few people who have electrical tape over their cameras... but I'd rather not do that, since I actually want to use the fancy camera on my shiny new phone! With this case, I just slide the little cover over, and I'm ready to take pictures. When I'm done, I slide it back. Easy! I'm confident that this will help protect my camera from scratches and whatnot, too. One little gripe about the camera cover is that it doesn't slide as smoothly as I'd expected, but this might also be a plus... it doesn't seem like it will slide accidentally.Other things: I like the look of the case. I got the blue one, and the color matches the blue of my iPhone 12. It does say "Discover Innovation" on the back, which is kinda goofy, but whatever. The feel of the case is decent- it doesn't feel like a fancy Apple case ($$$), but it doesn't feel too cheap either. It's a slightly rubbery plastic, so it adds some grip, but it is still a bit slick. It's thin and light, but it still seems like it will protect my phone if I drop it. (Haven't dropped it yet!) It does have a slightly raised lip around the edges, so if you put it face down on a flat surface, the screen doesn't touch the surface. I refuse to use a screen protector, so the little lip thing is a must. It works fine with my Anker Qi charger, but I haven't tried a MagSafe charger.Bottom line: This is an excellent case for the price, and the camera cover works! I've been using it for two weeks now, and I think I'll be sticking with this case for the foreseeable future.

I really wanted to love this case, but it doesn’t completely wrap around my phone on the top and bottom. If my phone were black, it wouldn’t be noticeable, but as you can see in the picture the gold still shows which means there isn’t a lip to hold my phone in place securely. I bought this for the camera protection feature which I love, and the back design is simple and neat. Maybe i have a defective one, so ill be asking for a replacement... hopefully the replacement won’t be the same, otherwise I’m returning it for a refund. Will try to remember to update.UPDATE: Company emailed me back saying all their cases were the same, so I will be returning it.

I was concerned about protecting the camera on my brand new phone.I read reviews of camera covers had claims of the covers falling off and side by side photos that show how much they effect picture quality. And I was apprehensive about trying them.Then my wife found this case which protects the camera without any need to worry about losing picture quality or the cover falling off of the camera.

The case is great, not sure if the previous review of it adding “bulkiness” is that bad, sure it adds a little which is good for protection but not no otterbox defender type bulk. I think its perfect the way it is including the textured back for grip. Another great plus is the rear sliding camera cover. Apple stated cameras can not be fixed or replaced so having the cover on, adds piece of mind. (since the phone is freakin expensive). Only small negative is that the cover is a bit too hard to slide open and closed. Yet overall a great case.

I bought this case to use on the motorcycle handlebar mount. This way I can close the camera with the slider and not have to fear a rock coming up and damage my camera on my expensive new phone. The case fits very well and and I have no complaints whatsoever.
