Great combo, my son loves getting to weight his fish
I bought this scale for fishing and I’m very satisfied with it. It is very accurate and easy to use. The digital display is clear and bright, and the memory function is very handy. The scale is water-resistant and floats, so I don’t have to worry about dropping it in the water. The handle is comfortable and sturdy, and the hook is strong and sharp. The tape measure is also a nice bonus, as I can measure my fish without taking them off the hook. The lip gripper is also very useful and gentle on the fish. It holds them securely without puncturing their mouths. The scale is compact and lightweight, and it comes with batteries included. It’s a great product for any angler who wants to weigh and measure their catch easily and safely. I highly recommend it!

Good scale
Easy to use, has lb/oz setting. Easy to read display. Only issue is larger fish will jump off the hook if you don’t pay attention.

Slip-Resistant Grip, Heavy Duty Hook, Accurate Weight and Portable
The media could not be loaded. Really love how small and portable this digital scale is! It fits perfect in my fishing bag at a little under 6" long, and can both weigh and measure my catch at the same time!! There is a slight delay once you power it on and put the fish on the hook. Give it a second to begin weighing, the light will stop flashing once it is complete and the weight will display. The screen is a good size and the back light allows you to see the details more clear in low light. The ruler is about 38" long, perfect for all the big stripers! It is lightweight, but the ABS frame is super durable and tough. The slip-resistant grip on the handle works great when your hands are wet and slimy from touching fish. The hook is stainless steel and heavy duty, weighing up to 110lbs. This scale can be used in Kilograms.I did have an issue with saltwater getting into the water resistant battery compartment and causing corrosion. This did cause the product to stop working initially, but I luckily was able to clean it and get the scale working again. I am still going to give this item 4 stars because the price is awesome, it reads accurate weight, and it's super easy to use!

Easy to use, incredibly accurate and has a ruler built in!
Very easy to use. Alot of scales do not toggle well between KG and Lbs. This one does very easily. Also, the scale has the non-slip grip that make it easy to hold your fish. Works very well with no puncture fish grips. Also the scale is incredibly accurate to the ounce. I weighed a mailing package with USPS with a preshippimg label and it was the exact weight at the post office. Definitely nice knowing if your tournament fishing. This scale has a ruler built in as well! Great value for the money!

Scale is VERY accurate with my tests and the fish gripper worked great on 5-9lbs channel catfish
so far, nothing bad about it that i can think of other than i could NOT find anything of how the taring works or anything of that nature other than the basic features it states. but i figured it out with spending a few minutes testing stuff.so, to anyone who doesn't know, as I've never owned a fish scale til now. this scale tare's as soon as you power it on. it also has a manual tare if you tap the power button once, the numbers flash a couple times and it tare's. SO, if you are using the gripper that comes with this, the gripper weighs 4oz, so turning it on WITH the gripper hanging on it OR pressing the power button will tare the gripper weight for a more accurate reading while using the gripper.now, I'm unsure if this is the same with most of these scales as a well an already known thing or not but the ONLY thing picky I've noticed with this scale and weighing stuff... you REALLY need to keep it as level and strait as possible for the most accurate readings. i stopped using the handle it has on top and started gripping the sides as i can hold it easier that way to keep it as strait and level as i can. you tilt a little too much in ANY direction, it WILL be off, how much it's tilted will determine how in-accurate the reading will be.Now, with all that out the way. so far i tested from 1lbs to 16lbs and it was VERY accurate. i used full unopened NOS energy drink cans which are 16fl oz cans and they weight exactly 1.126lbs per can, which to this scale will be 1lbs 2.016oz(it doesn't read less than an a whole OZ so it only shows 1lb 2oz on the scale) i used 2 shopping bags and the gripper to do this also and used the tare on it all before adding the the cans. kept placing a can in one by one and it was dead accurate til i hit the 15-16lbs which was 1-2oz off, BUT from holding it so long my arm started shaking so that could have affected it's reading, i put i think 1 or 2 more cans after that and it was still reading accurately. so, i'm VERY happy this scale was THAT accurate. i will attempt to make a video on this at some point and i will also try to make it stationary to show how accurate it is and such. but until then... this is a VERY accurate scale when used right. so i'd say if you're eye-balling this scale, go for it. the gripper is up to you, but i went ahead and got the one that came with the gripper as i figured it'd be easier and safer for weighing fish and it has been as well as has helped with using it for testing it's accuracy.UPDATE: 9/20/2024so far i've been randomly testing it with the same cans over the last couple weeks to know what variances it consists of, it does seem to vary from each time it's used/turned on BUT the most off weight i've gotten so far was a consistent 2oz lower than it's suppose to be, i had one instance where it was 4oz off, but i think i didn't tare it right nor was holding it strait. but other wise, 3oz is the lowest when i was testing in one of the instances, but it was a specific amount of it being 2oz off so it was probably slowly climbing more off as it went up. but when it wants to be accurate, it seems dead accurate still. just get the off weighs that could be upto 2-3oz less than it's suppose to be. if you don't tare it, it will be 4oz more because of the gripper or whatever else that wasn't added to the tare which is the only time it's been over the weight. unsure if temperature is affecting it either. testing it in a 68f apartment most of the time.
