Great books for boys who love basketball. My boy was a bit disappointed because it doesn’t have Steph Curry in it. It’s a good read regardless.

I am a volunteer reading tutor. My student (Billy) is very interested in sports and his goal is to be able to read the sports page of the newspaper. I use a Kindle reader because my student has impaired vision and being able to enlarge the print assists him.This book is well written and goes well beyond basketball as written in the sports pages. It goes into the lives and motivations of the players featured. Billy is fascinated by it and that encourages me to try harder to help him. It also appropriately discusses the uphill climb basketball players endured--including black players.Well done.

I'm up for anything that will get my 7 year old interested in reading. This is a great book for a kid who lives basketball. It shows books aren't just boring things school make U read.
